DAY 1: TRANSFER IN & LAMAS
We will meet you at the airport according to your flight schedule and then transfer you to your chosen hotel. (We suggest morning flights before 12:00). Lunch (ON YOUR OWN).
**NATIVE LAMAS TOUR
Departure: 3:00 PM – 3:45 PM // Return: 7:00 PM
The town of Lamas is located 30 minutes from Tarapoto. This city is known for its immense cultural value. It is divided into two sectors: the Wayku neighborhood in the lower part, where we find the native Quechua speakers who are known for preserving and conserving their ancient customs. In the upper part, we find the mestizos. We will visit: the historic plaza, the castle, and the Native Community.
Return to Tarapoto.

DAY 2: FULL DAY ALTOMAYO (Moyobamba/Rioja) + TOURIST LUNCH
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure: 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. // Return: 7:30 p.m.
Departure for the city of Rioja. (Approx. 2:30 p.m.)
Visit the source of the Tioyacu River, a beautiful river that runs through the city of Rioja, with crystal-clear waters where you can enjoy swimming or playing with the various implements you can find there. Visit "Chacra Vieja" (Old Farm), where you can taste local products such as ice cream or traditional drinks. Traditional lunch at a tourist restaurant. Visit to the hot springs. The hot springs boast crystal-clear waters with varying temperatures ranging from 38° to 40°C, and offer therapeutic properties. Visit the orchid garden, a representative plant of the Alto Mayo region. There are different species with beautiful shapes and colors. Return to Tarapoto. Overnight in Tarapoto.

DAY 3: FULL DAY BLUE LAGOON + TOURIST LUNCH

Departure: 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. // Return: 6:00 p.m.
Departure from your hotel to the town of Sauce. Along the way, we will cross the majestic Huallaga River aboard a raft and arrive at the Blue Lagoon, whose name is derived from the beautiful color of its waters, which reflect the local skies. An ideal place to visit with family and friends. We will take a 20-minute motorboat ride, where you can observe various bird species, such as herons, kingfishers, and eagles, as well as fish such as the gamitana, paco, and boquichico. We will enjoy the Punta de Gallinazo viewpoint and a tourist lunch in a comfortable restaurant overlooking the beautiful scenery of the lagoon. Free time to swim, sunbathe, visit the various craft stalls, or participate in water sports (jet skiing, kayaking, canopy tours, at an additional cost).
Transfer to the selected hotel.

DAY 4: SAUCE RESORT – TARAPOTO
Breakfast at the hotel.
Free day for activities around the Laguna Azul and to enjoy the resort facilities. In the afternoon, return to Tarapoto and stay in the city.

DAY 5: HALF DAY AHUASHIYACU WATERFALLS
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure: 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. // Return: 1:30 p.m.
Whose name means "singing water" or "laughing water," this is a spectacular waterfall approximately 40 meters high. It cascades down the Escalera Mountain Range to the natural pool at its base, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in its cool waters. The area is also impressive for its flora, which includes a wide variety of orchids and ferns. Butterflies, insects, and birds can be observed in the area.
Return to the city of Tarapoto. Lunch (ON-SITE).
